Video Jam presented Baraka
Royal Northern College of Music | 10th February 2017
Originally shot in 25 countries on six continents, Baraka brings together a series of stunningly photographed scenes to capture what director Ron Fricke calls 'a guided meditation on humanity.’ Marking the culmination of 3 years work, six different composers were given a section from the feature length work to score live, one after the next, in a unique musical relay. The acts were contrasting musical styles as the score moved seamlessly from electronic to percussive to contemporary classical.
We were delighted to have sold out the 600+ capacity venue for this event.
